| This morning we went to the picturesque town of
Bouillon, Luxembourg. This town lies along side a river and a great
Medieval castle overlooking the town and river. The castle was started
about 1060 by a knight who led the Crusades to take Jerusalem back from
the Arabs. This castle had two draw bridges. If an attacker could get over
the second moat, there was an iron gate that came down out of the ceiling
and a hole in the ceiling for pouring hot oil through. There was a large
courtyard inside the fortress walls, a dungeon and prison cells. |

We drove into Luxembourg City in the Grand Duchy of
Luxembourg. After checking into the hotel, we took a guided walking tour
to the Duke's Palace and the surrounding area. Right across the street
from the hotel was a building owned by Pedus. I had just taken a picture
of a Pedus truck parked in front of the gate of the Ducal Palace.
Deara and I went inside the building and found the office of Pedus'
Luxembourg headquarters. We wanted to get some literature about their
operations to take back to Phoenix as a joke. |
