Day 12

Castles of the World

HomeCastle Tours 2000Press Information

We drove through the Bavarian Alps all morning and stopped in Innsbruck, Austria for a two hour shopping spree. Later today we arrived in the tiny Principality of Leichtenstien, where we got our Passports stamped for the first time. We rode a little orientation train around town and then proceeded on to Lucerne, Switzerland. Here we saw the famous covered wooden bridge and the Lion Monument. We were ors our own in Lucerne for dinner and shopping. We found a sidewalk cafe and had good Lasagna with Rick, Pam, Leah and Lucy.  We left Lucerne and drove up the mountain, in the dark, to the small town of Engelberg,  amid the snow covered peaks of Mt. Titlis, where we spent the night..
